Representing only 1.3% of the American workforce, the average American farmer or rancher is 57.5 years old. As seasoned producers begin to retire, the next generation of the American farmer and rancher will betaking on the legacy of providing food, fuel, and fiber to an ever-increasing population.    

With such a large mission to undertake, the Florida Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Program proves to be an excellent source of information and guidance for younger minds to break into the industry. Geared for ages 18-35, this program provides grants and scholarships, mentorship, networking opportunities within the agriculture industry.      

  The YFR program is not only a valuable source of information and guidance for the next generation of farmers and ranchers but also serves as a platform for fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the industry.
